"Touhou Project is a Guinness Book-recognized doujin franchise created by a single man known as ZUN. A visual experience once described as ""a fireworks display being sick,"" the Touhou games are a series of bullet hell shmups with an all-female cast and stellar music. Arguably most notable about Touhou, however, is the fanbase, which has taken on a life of its own, with countless music arrangements, doujins, fangames, and even unofficial anime episodes with voice acting from the likes of Rie Tanake and Kikuko Inoue!
This panel is designed to be accessible to fans of all familiarity levels -- whether you think ""Reimu"" means a laser-shooting cow or you huddle in fear when you hear the phrase ""25 Mushrooms"", there will surely be something you've never seen before. Even if there isn't, you know you're in for a visual assault impressive in both its and difficulty. Whatever your level of familiarity is, we hope to see you there."
